Building the beast

One of the problems with building your own quad opteron system is that the only direct-to-consumer motherboard available is so large that it doesn't fit in any standard computer cases. However, that's really only a problem if you weren't looking for an excuse to assemble your own case. I'll post more details when I have time to finish it next week, but for now here's a preview:
